For auction listings, the bid analysis panel shows a Max bid value. This is the highest amount you can bid right now and still net your target margin after fees and shipping.
Formula:
Max bid = Market value × (1 − targetMargin) − estimatedFees − shippingIn
Default target margin is 15% — change it in Settings → Sniper. If the current high bid is already above your max, the panel turns amber as a warning to skip this auction.
The calculator does not account for sniping fees if you use a third-party auction sniping tool — bake those in yourself by lowering your target margin.
